Entrepreneur Showcase Exhibitors

Thank you for supporting the MIT Enterprises Forum of Phoenix by exhibiting at our events. To help you get the most from your exhibit, we have developed some suggestions.

Set-Up Your Exhibition Space

The Entrepreneur Showcase will begin promptly at 5:30 pm so please arrive early to set up your space. You will be provided ~ 4’x4’ of table space in the event room where you can display your materials and handouts.

You are encouraged to use marketing materials that help to tell your story. Suggested types are:

  • An 8.5”x11” or larger tabletop picture frame with your company name and tagline
  • A laptop displaying
o   A looped local video
o   A PowerPoint presentation
o   A webpage such as a video on YouTube
  • Handouts
o   Business cards
o   Brochures
o   Samples of your products and/or services
o   Customer success stories, case studies, whitepapers, reference material
  • A calendar to schedule meetings. Consider writing the meeting date/time/place on the back of your business cards to give to the attendee.

Preparing the Audience with Social Media

The MIT Enterprise Forum-Phoenix has presences in 5 social media platforms that we are glad to use to help promote your exhibit at this event. The icons below (except for YouTube) are linked to the MIT Enterprise Forum-Phoenix presences:

Please email me content to be propagated on the MIT Enterprise Forum-Phoenix social media platforms. Good content includes:

  • URLs to websites that relate to your business such as relevant blogs
  • URLs of your company’s reference customers and partners
  • Background information about your technology so that by the time attendees meet you at the event, they will already know something about your business
  • Pose relevant questions that generate interest and discussion

Remember to invite your contacts on Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, etc. to come see your exhibit. Send them to the announcement on this website's homepage or the web address for this  event registration page.

Q&A Session Following the Panel Discussion

During the panel discussion, compose one short, not self-promoting but value-added question that relates your business to the topic. When you pose your question, give your name, company and a very, VERY brief description of your company’s value proposition such as “we improve medical records security”, then say your question.

Build a Community of Entrepreneur Exhibitors

Please add to these ideas and suggestions to maximize exhibitors’ networking effectiveness.
